Cosmetic dentistry: Cosmetic dentistry is defined as a process of oral care by professionals that basically focus on the improvement of the appearance of the mouth, teeth and smile of an individual. Cracks, gaps, chips, fractures, stains, and uneven alignment of teeth can make the individuals smiles seems very unhealthy or prematurely aged. A deep overbite, which is also known as a vertical overbite, is about 4 to 10 millimeters in depth, and is regarded as a malocclusion which requires treatment. The word over jet is a term which refers to a maxillary protrusion which can arise with or without an overbite. A maxillary protrusion or protruding teeth is a condition that arises when the upper jaw gets stick out in front of the surface of lower jaw.
Maxillary protrusion or protruding teeth can generally be treated by applying braces over the tooth. Braces can help move only the protruded teeth to correct an overbiteproblem.
  • Shifted midline: Shifted midline is a condition where the teeth’s are arranged in a good manner but they are often off-center. The midline shift occurs from the crowns of the teeth of an individual, and not the roots.  Midline shift arises due to cross bite at back of your mouth or a missing tooth. During the treatment of shifted midline it is not compulsory that the roots should be shifted to change the appearance of the midline.
